Office Assistant
Location: West LA
Schedule: fully onsite | Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Duration: temp-to-hire
Salary: $22/hr - $25/hr
Job Description: The Office Assistant's primary responsibility will be supporting daily operations at our client's warehouse facility. Responsibilities include maintaining and ordering food, beverages, and supplies for break rooms and the kitchen areas across a two-floor warehouse and office space. Serving as first point of contact at the front desk for clients and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Primary responsibility to support maintenance and ordering of company supplies, food, and beverages, as well as daily stocking of all break rooms and kitchen areas across the facility.
* Handle front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, assisting visitors, managing deliveries, and supporting day-to-day office operations.
* Responsible for the weekly setup of office lunches; assist with other event coordination as requested.
* Assist with internal deliveries, including logging and delivering items to the appropriate recipients.
* Support office filing, storage, and document management processes, including faxing, scanning, and copying.
* Greet visitors, follow security protocols, and process visitor request forms, directing guests to the appropriate staff member.
* Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member; take and distribute accurate messages.
* Support teams with various administrative and operational tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Demonstrated commitment to customer service with a high emphasis on a professional and friendly attitude, attire, and demeanor.
* Internet skills including use of email, group messaging, and digital data collection.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
